June 2026 Events
Phew! I did all my May events and had a wonderful time meeting everyone as I introduced them to TRANSFORMING TESSA and all my other books!
Today I am going through all the book boxes in my car, replenishing my stock as needed and add more bookmarks to my carton of table items.
Plus, I had a new sign made to address the issue of people stopping by my table, looking at my display and then at me, only to ask, “Oh, are you the author?” or “Oh, are you doing a booksigning?” (Other questions I get are “Where is the [fill in the blank] section?” and “Where is the bathroom?”)
Hopefully, that will encourage them to ask for an autographed copy and not think I’m just a member of the store’s staff! (Since I sell more fiction than nonfiction, that’s what I focused on for the sign.) What do you think?
